Program Costs

Tuition Fee

Tuition fee for all Enrollment Options: 790 Euro (deadline: May 28)

(Early Bird fee: 730 Euro until April 30)

The tuition fee also includes some administrative costs, an orientation program and welcome pack, access to the CEU Library and IT facilities, reading materials, printing quota, and some social activities. Participants should expect to contribute some costs toward additional social events.

The tuition fee is normally payable in full upon confirmation of acceptance of the CEU offer of a place of study in the advanced course. However, staggered payment can be arranged on a case-by-case basis for those participants who cannot pay the full fee at the time they confirm acceptance, providing that they pay a minimum of 20% tuition fees at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of your cancellation, CEU will refund the tuition fee as follows:

  • For cancellations before May 28-full refund
  • For cancellations between May 29 - June 12-80% of the tuition fee.
  • For withdrawals from the program after June 13 no refund.

Health Insurance (For all Enrollment Options)

Health insurance is mandatory for all participants to cover them during their stay.
Participants will be responsible for taking out their own insurance policy (or acquire the EU health card in case of EU citizens). They will be required to sign a declaration about their medical insurance and submit a copy of their valid insurance policy to the course coordinator upon arrival.

Residential Fee (For all Enrollment Options)

The Residential Fee covers the cost of a single or double room at the CEU Residence and Conference Center. Cost per day per person:

  • Single Room: 28 Euro/person/night (with breakfast)
  • Shared Double Room: 17 Euro/person/night (with breakfast)

Total Residential Fee

For single room:
Residential Fee for 14 days: 392 Euro

For double room:
Residential Fee for 14 days: 238 Euro

The Residential Fee is payable in cash or by credit card upon arrival at the CEU Residence Center.

Other Miscellaneous Expenses

Participants in the course will be expected to cover their individual costs of travel to Budapest, visa, transportation in Budapest, meals and other personal needs.
