This workshop is a joint activity between United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Central European University. This course is a part of the “Bridging ICTs and Environment” workshop series run by the ISEPEI project.

Further important program dates

The following timeline applies to most of the SUN programs, however there might be slightly different timelines in case of a few courses.

  • Email notification about the decision: mid-April - mid-May
     
  • Participants should confirm acceptance and housing needs in two weeks after receipt of the acceptance notification.
     
  • Activation of the course-specific e-learning sites with readings and course outlines: end of April - end of May
     
  • Early-bird deadline of tuition payment for fee-paying participants: March - April, for course-specific early bird deadline see the course website
     
  • Tuition payment deadline for fee-paying participants: April - May, for course specific fee payment deadline see the Fees and Costs page
     
  • Visa application:
    • Submit our visa form upon receipt of notification. (See Visa page for more.)
    • SUN Office sends out original invitation letters to visa applicants upon request after receipt of the visa form.
    • Submit our Housing form upon receipt of notification. (See Visa page for more.)
    • CEU Residence Center sends out room booking confirmations after receipt of the Housing form.
    • Request an appointment for visa application at the relevant embassy/consulate 60 days prior to arrival.
       
  • Participant arrivals, hotel check-in, and registration: one day before the course starts
     
  • Orientation session at CEU Budapest downtown campus: on the first day of the course
