 What were the strengths of the summer course?

-  "presentations of participants' research"

-  "good combination of theoretical approach and discussion of case studies; focus on comparative, non-European experience"

-  "the wide variety of topics and academics we could hear, as well as the variety of backgrounds my peers came from. It all led to an atmosphere conducive of learning not only from the lectures but from each other as well. I also liked the simulation game at the end. I’m partial to this type of learning having participated in several EU negotiation simulations, and I think it is an excellent way to develop in-depth insights into issue areas and learn about the dynamics of the given context more efficiently. As the Chinese proverb says: 'Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand'.
