 The course is organized by the UNIDO Institute for Capacity Development in cooperation with the Central European University (CEU). It is supported by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Target group

The course aims at young professionals in the fields of resource efficiency and cleaner production (RECP), members of non-governmental organizations involved in environmental advocacy and PhD students with a background in technical or policy related studies in green industry.  Undergraduates without a university degree will not be considered.


Participants are expected to arrive with a high degree of academic or professional understanding of environmental management systems, green industry, resource efficiency and of the global and national policy frameworks for green industrial development.

Language requirement

The language of instruction is English, thus all applicants have to demonstrate a strong command of spoken and written English to be able to participate actively in discussions at seminars and workshops. Some of the shortlisted applicants may be contacted for a telephone interview.
