Target group

Applications are invited from those who hold a PhD or are currently enrolled in a PhD program. Undergraduates without a university degree will not be considered. Preference will be given to advanced students and/or students with scholarly experience.


Participants are assumed to hold a PhD or to be enrolled in a PhD program in one of the following fields: Jewish, Biblical, Early Christian, Patristic, Late Antique or Religious Studies, Theology or Intellectual History.

Language requirement

The language of instruction is English, thus all applicants have to demonstrate a strong command of spoken and written English to be able to participate actively in discussions at seminars and workshops. Some of the shortlisted applicants may be contacted for a telephone interview.
